Typically spa owners buy this “Start” kit together with the “@Ease Refill Kit” — with both of these products you should be set for approximately 3 months of spa usage until your next water drain and refill process.

 

@Ease Sanitizing System features a unique self regulating chlorine and minerals to give you a simple chlorine-based solution to hot tub care. This system uses up to 75% less chlorine than traditional hot tub systems. The SmartChlor cartridge last up to 4 weeks and the mineral cartridge lasts up to 4 months. Another great feature is that you only need to shock once per month.

Directions:

  1. Fill hot tub with fresh water and balance water chemistry levels.
  2. Before using new @ease cartridges, establish an initial residual of 0.5 – 1.0 ppm free chlorine with Frog Jump Start shock – one packet per 500 gallons.
  3. Heat water to desired temperature.
  4. Once water is warmed to temp, place new @ease Blue & Silver cartridges in spa. Begin routine hot tub care.

Silver Smartchlor cartridge should last approx 3-4 weeks (depending on usage) and then will need to be replaced with another silver cartridge from the @ease Refill kit. Blue Mineral cartridge should stay good through the life of initial “Start” Smartchlor cartridge AND the 3 refill Smartchlor cartridges (purchased separately) before needing to be replaced.
